CMS-Approved
4 MEASURESHeart Rate Control in Atrial Fibrillation
Evaluates effectiveness of pharmacological rate control in atrial fibrillation patients. Targets heart rate <110 bpm, aligning with ACC/AHA guidelines.
SGLT2 Inhibitor Use in Chronic Kidney Disease
Promotes evidence-based prescribing of SGLT2 inhibitors in patients with chronic kidney disease stages 2-3. SGLT2 inhibitors have been shown to slow CKD progression and reduce cardiovascular events regardless of diabetes status.
Echocardiogram Stewardship in Heart Failure
Reduces unnecessary repeat echocardiogram testing in stable heart failure patients. Routine echocardiograms in clinically stable patients without new symptoms or clinical changes do not alter management or improve outcomes.
Noninvasive Ischemic Imaging Stewardship in Chronic Coronary Disease: Avoiding Testing without Clinical Indication
This measure assesses the appropriate use of noninvasive ischemic imaging in patients with chronic coronary disease in accordance with the 2023 ACC/AHA guidelines on the management of chronic coronary disease. It evaluates the percentage of patients who received imaging without a clinical change or pre-operative indication, signaling potential overuse of cardiac imaging.
Why we develop our own measures
We develop our own measures—designed to address real-world gaps in care, fully calculable from discrete claims and EMR data. Every measure we build is in The Platform from day one.
